Fire Walk with Me, ring and brooch
The pieces Fire Walk with Me are inspired by fire as a transformative element symbolizing renewal, inner strength, and passion. Fire is energy that, like yin and yang, can be destructive, but from its ashes, the Phoenix rises as a symbol of rebirth. Recycled acrylic and oxidized silver are used, interacting with each other. The red acrylic, with its sinuous and organic shapes, is embraced by the noble metal, anchoring and cradling it. This allows the fire represented in the acrylic to walk with the wearer, transmitting the energy from the creative process. The red colour expresses energy, strength, movement, passion, desire, love and life, concepts that allow us to transform ourselves and our surroundings.

Viki Gomez, born in 1970 in Almeria, Spain, graduated in Fine Arts in 1992. Her artistic curiosity has led her to study blacksmithing, scenography and music, but it was in 2017 when she discovered her true passion: jewellery. This versatile artistic field allowed her to combine and apply all her previous knowledge and skills.
Her eclectic style is the result of all these experiences. She is in constant search and experimentation with materials, shapes, and colours. Each creation is a narrative, a fragment of her soul, showcasing her personal vision in the art of jewellery making.
