SANDRA KLEIMBERG – ESKA
Belgium

Statement

The patterns here echo the rhythm of timeless movements, offering a sense of solace. When chaos transforms into harmony and disruption finds its place within structure, we are invited into a space of greater comfort.

Crafted from seemingly delicate paper, these bracelets yet look strong and flexible, thus alive. They serve as a reminder that "unity is strength”.

Material

Bracelet Spring: paper, sterling silver, steel, magnets

Bracelet Night: Paper, sterling silver, steel, magnets

Coming from self-taught beadwork while in Canada, Sandra started jewellery at Institute Jeanne Toussaint in Brussels in 2014.

She strives to find the most aesthetic way to use colourful materials, combined with metal. Through repetitive patterns and colour contrasts, she creates vibrant, dynamic jewellery. She uses fabric, paper, glass beads, acetate and metals.

She is one of the founders of Les Brucelles asbl and very active in the organization of the Brussels Jewellery Week. She has exhibited in Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Portugal and Romania. She is currently at RhOK Academy.
