Strobilus I. and Strobilus II.

Wearable rings, with glass in the shape of a pine cone, attached with metal. The rings differ in the type of cone: Strobilus I. is mainly closed in shape, while Strobilus II. reaches beyond its shape, it blooms. When worn, the rings remind us of nature, which always offers us shelter and the possibility to move away; nature allows us to take a break from a tense life and to bloom mentally and personally again.

Material: glass, copper

Technique: lost wax technique, hand metalworking, copper, darkened with sulphur
