The Weight of Currency
Jewelry is like a scarf that wraps you around; it is not heavy, but you always wear it. It symbolizes the influence of money on our lives – how it can wrap us up, shape us, and blind us, distancing us from true values such as love, connection, and inner fulfilment.
The jewelry warns that materialism brings only short-term satisfaction, while true joy comes from inner values and spiritual growth. Money is a tool, not a goal – if we do not use it thoughtfully, it becomes a shackle that limits us.
The jewelry is not just decoration, but a reminder that true fulfilment is found in what truly defines us as people – not in material, but in the deeper meaning of life. This jewelry was created under the mentorship of professor dr. Tina Cotič and the professional assistance of contemporary jewelry designer Sandra Kocjančič.
Material: paper, aluminium foil, double-sided adhesive tape, superglue, wire
