LUKA PETRINJAK, Croatia

Female voices: soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto

Luka Petrinjak’s Female voices are sculptures created as part of a larger project titled Instruments, in which he explores the construction and functionality of objects and phenomena from the world of music. In this group of sculptures, the artist combines ready-made segments of musical instruments (strings of instrument) with silver spherical shapes, creating assemblages whose volumes resonate with female singing voices in classical music.
