“When the new replaces the old in art, it can be a powerful source of energy and inspiration.

I like to go to flee markets or car boot sales to search for second hand or vintage jewellery. Very often the jewels are broken or derelict and people are happy to sell them for a few euros. I mix them with silicone parts and some punch needle embroidery.

By giving them a second life and a new bust of energy, my intention is to deconstruct the pieces and reconstruct them in a joyful combination of colours and materials.”
