The spiral chain inside invites the wearer to engage actively, representing the dynamic interplay of energy – how it accumulates, releases, and reorganizes within. This mirrors the exhibition’s focus on energy transitions, illustrating how we continuously adapt to internal and external changes, catalysing personal growth and evolution.
Densing Ring
Densing Ring represents the adaptability and resilience of energy within our lives. Using crochet and weaving techniques, the ring becomes compact and dense as the wearer interacts with it, embodying the concept of energy being absorbed, compacted, and transformed through life's pressures and impacts.

YouJin Seo is a multidisciplinary jewellery and object maker based in Seoul and London, working with jewellery, objects, and installations that merge traditional craftsmanship with experimental and conceptual approaches. She holds a MA in Jewellery and Metal from the Royal College of Art.
YouJin’s work explores the duality of human experience – connection and isolation, presence and absence, guilt and pleasure – exploring how these themes shape our emotional landscape. She creates sculptural forms that invite both touch and reflection, drawing viewers into the intricate balance of contemporary existence. Her pieces encourage audiences to confront the fragile, often fleeting nature of relationships, memory, and self.
