“At Dorotheajoyas we create polymer clay pieces that can adapt to different expressions, depending on the person wearing them. Our main goal is that each piece of jewelry we create acts as an art object that can be transformed into jewelry, shining like a pearl on the skin. We draw inspiration from the simple and the complex, from emotions, smells, memories, experiences and sensations. We represent emotions and personality. Each piece of jewelry tells a story from my life. Therefore, it is impossible to choose just one specific piece as a favorite – because that would be the same as tearing out a chapter from my book.”

Material

polymer clay, brass, mica powder, gold leaf

Technique

own technique Doroteya Komoshtichanova

Doroteya Komoshtichanova was born in 1978 in Bulgaria.

In 2003 she graduated in engineering in Sofia. At the time of the birth of her second child, she decided to explore and delve into the “world of polymer clay”. She has created her own, unique technique and special design for her creations. She does not use any tools when creating, only her hands, as she believes that this is how she can best convey the message she wants to share with others. In each piece of jewelry she creates, she expresses herself.
