Rising Collection
“In the Rising Collection, I harness my passion for bread baking to explore bread’s potential in jewellery design, combining homemade bread with metal to showcase the dough’s energy and vitality, as well as my baking story. As the dough expands within the metal frames, it forms unique jewellery shapes and is then dehydrated to prolong preservation. The rising of dough also symbolises growth and resilience. The shaping of metal bands is inspired by breadmaking techniques like kneading and stretching. Bread transcends its common use, becoming precious jewellery that offers a fresh perspective on unconventional materials.”
