AYLA TUR
Between bodies
This project investigates the intimate interaction between body and material through wearable soap pieces. As they are worn, the pieces change, with erosion becoming a metaphor for fragility, care and durability. Every gesture leaves a trace, and the material responds – changing, dissolving and evolving. Through this dialogue, body and object merge, encouraging reflection on touch, transformation and the subtle connections between self, material and environment, reimagining everyday matter as expressive, living jewelry.
Material
Soap and cotton thread
