- Lecture with a presentation of 3D printed jewellery and presentation of practical examples. Examples of successful designers and brands using 3D printing. Materials for 3D printed jewelry (plastic, metal, resin, biocompatible materials). Presentation of materials and software (Blender).
Examples of student collections. Advantages of 3D printed jewellery compared to traditional methods. How 3D printing enables personalisation and sustainable design. Options for selling and marketing of 3D printed jewellery.
- Demonstration of 3D printing and scanning in the NTF 3D Lab (10-20 min) / Muck, (Kočevar, Čuk)
Demonstration of how 3D printed jewelry is created – from a digital model to a physical product. Brief presentation of different printers, scanners and printed products. Explanation of post-processing (grinding, polishing, electroplating).
- Guided tour of the 3D printed jewelry exhibition in Mitnica
Visitors can see examples of different 3D printed jewelry products.
