Shrinkles is a type of plastic that can be drawn on like paper, using various colouring tools, such as coloured pencils. When heated, the plastic shrinks to one-seventh (1/7) of its original size, transforming the drawn images into more delicate and complex shapes. The dynamic, fluid shapes that form during the shrinking process evoke the feeling of watching a plant grow, accelerated in

time-lapse.

Material: shrinkles plastic, pastel, sterling silver

Technique: thermoforming plastic (a versatile moulding process)
