A bee
A piece of jewelry that reminds us of the importance of preserving the natural balance and thus the biodiversity of Slovenia. The jewelry is made of textile composite, using only discarded textiles.
Born in 1967 in Ljubljana. In 1995, I finished university studies in textile and clothing design at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, Department of Textiles, Graphic Arts and design in Ljubljana. In 1997, I completed a master's degree in Clothing management at The Scottish College of Textiles, Galashiels, Great Britain. In 2001, I finished my doctoral studies at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, Department of Textiles, Graphic Arts and Design in Ljubljana.
Since 1995, I have been employed at the Faculty of Natural Science and Engineering in Ljubljana. Since 2020, I am designing in porcelain, felted wool, textile and clothing design.
