Shift
The energy of life is most creative when it flows freely. If it stops, it accumulates, but it always finds a way and erupts somewhere or disperses, even is lost. Such energy states manifest as a radical change / shift in different areas of life. They enable us to grow and gain a deeper insight into ourselves. When we look back over time, every shift makes sense. The necklace / bracelet is made of 49 pieces of silver plates. Every plate is 365 mm long and represents one year of the author's life. The flat plates represent years of a steady flow of life, the single-twisted one is like a radical turn in a new direction, where the new replaces the old, and a double-twisted one combines both: the steady life accepts new challenges and includes them into its flow. A unique pattern of life energy flows through the 180 cm long chain.
