KRISTINA DRNOVŠEK

Talisman

Glass is magical in itself – as if light itself were transformed into material. It acts as if it has the power to capture and freeze magical energy.

People have always believed in higher powers and wore talismans in the hope that they would bring them luck in achieving their personal goals. However, it is not the object that carries the special power, but the person himself, and the talisman serves him only as a tool that helps him recognize and activate the inner powers that already exist within him.

Jewelry is inspired by the idea that with energy we can transform both our inner worlds and the world around us. The talisman we wear instils strength, hope and connection with the energies that permeate our world. It is an intertwining of fantasy and reality that meet in a piece of jewelry.
