KATARINA EKART

Perpetuum

The Perpetuum collection, which includes a bracelet, earrings and a ring, draws inspiration from the concept of movement as an essential characteristic of textiles.

Textiles are never completely static; their nature is fluid, in a constant state of transformation. Textiles drape, fold, crease and stretch – each movement creates a new shape that exists only for a moment before changing again.

With this collection, the designer wanted to capture this fleeting movement and freeze it into a lasting form of jewelry that, despite its apparent static nature, carries the dynamism and energy of movement.
