Unbound

Substance is often understood as something solid, as a mass, bounded by shape, weight, and material certainty. Its true nature, however, may not lie in stability, but in its ability to move, to release or dissolve. The “Unbound” collection explores this very boundary – the transition of matter from a fixed form, which gradually develops and merges into freely moving, light traces. The linear structures in the collection evoke the idea that substance is indefinite. It stretches, escapes and moves. Intricate patinated surfaces blur the line between the handmade and the natural. Dense forms break into dots; textures turn into vibration. What remains is a choreography of points, the tension of curves and intervals, the architecture of movement, transferred into a wearable scale.

IŞIL OZCAM, Turkey

Işil Özçam, founder of the brand Dialogue of Forms, graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Interior Architecture. She discovered jewelry design while working on various projects. She trained as a goldsmith and gemstone setter for five years, while also establishing her own studio. She sees jewelry as a form of expression and strives to create bold pieces with sculptural characters. Her creations have been presented in international galleries and museum sales, and are inspired by the graphic play of uneven lines and organic shapes, exploring concepts such as flow, process and changeability. Işil experiments with different materials and highlights their unique effects without compromising their functionality.
