“This piece is inspired by the city maps of my home country, Iraq, reflecting the intricate layout of its urban landscapes. It took two months to complete and consists of around 80 individually crafted pieces, each carefully imagined and hand-cut. No templates or guides were used – every cut was a spontaneous expression of creativity.

Though challenging, the process was deeply rewarding, pushing my imagination beyond its limits. It encouraged me to experiment with form and composition in new ways. This piece is more than just a creation; it is an exploration of the beauty and complexity of the cities that hold a special place in my heart.”
