Man on Stilts

Benjamin Kavazović, through a composition of three sculptures – the figurative triad Man on Stilts – deconstructs his own style through three phases: ascent, loss of balance and disappearance. Stilts symbolize the illusory power and instability of identity, supported by imposed authorities. With the disappearance of form, style itself also disappears, revealing the fragility between expression and meaning.
