Žiga Kodre

By using two different textures, smooth and rough, separated by a shiny swirl of yellow gold, I wanted to depict the contrast between the earth and the sky. On the one hand, the rough hard texture I achieved by using a file and on the other hand its opposite, the smooth, pure silver surface.

Žiga joined the family atelier in 2020, after completing his studies at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering with his diploma thesis "The influence of alloying elements on the hardness and colour shade of 14-carat gold". He is now training under Jure's mentorship and is already creating his first unique products.
