The red scarf, originally a symbol embodying the essence of the red flag's corner, was intended to honour martyrs and carry forward their resolute spirit, motivating children to dedicate themselves to the prosperity of their homeland. Yet, in the flux of changing times, its initial profound meaning has waned, transforming into a mere instrument for assessment. Now mandated for students to wear, its forgetfulness equates to point deductions, unfairly stigmatizing those lapses as acts of disobedience. This transformation turned my childhood emblem into a constraining fixture, confining me and fuelling a fervent desire for liberation.
