An exploration where the delicate shapes of the forest converge with the senses, enveloping the human form in nature's intricate embrace. The human body becomes a canvas for adornment, as the diverse forms of fungi inspire a captivating display of shapes and textures. "I found it immensely intriguing to reimagine the growth of ‘Schizophyllum commune’ upon the human body". This collection transcends conventional adornment, inviting you to experience the essence of the touch of nature. Gemstones serve as the storytellers in this narrative, each with its own tale. The quartz featured in the necklace resonates with the depths of the forest, its inclusions evoking a profound connection to nature's mysteries.

As a child growing up in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Ursula Rihtar was captivated by the beauty of the natural world. From a young age, she knew that she wanted to create jewellery that captured the intricacies of nature and translated them into jewellery. In pursuit of her passion, she enrolled in the Industrial and Unique Design program at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana in 2009. She graduated in January 2013, and her graduation project was recognized with an award from the University of Ljubljana. She refined her skills during a four-year apprenticeship with Christoph Steidl Porenta, a master goldsmith and silversmith. She then continued her studies in the Master's program of Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, which she completed in June 2016. During her studies, she interned at Lara Bohinc's studio in London, where she gained invaluable experience in the jewellery industry. She opened her jewellery studio in 2022 in Ljubljana centre where she continues to create unique pieces that capture the essence of nature.
